Young athletes, fed well
This is for you - the parent packing the bag, driving to practice, and wondering what your young athlete should actually eat. Every conversation about a young athlete starts with you.
What I help parents with
Fueling around school, practice, and game days: breakfasts that happen, snacks that travel, water that gets drunk, and dinners that refill the tank. Enough food, at the right times, for a body that is still growing.
The frame is growth and energy - strong bones, steady energy, good recovery - never weight, and never restriction. Young athletes are far more often under-fueled than anything else.
How it works
- A parent leads
- Every conversation about a young athlete includes a parent or guardian. That is a rule, not a preference.
- Education first
- General fueling education for families; anything individual belongs in a proper conversation, with you in the room.
- Plain words
- Ideas your family can actually use on a school night.
One honest edge: I am a nurse and a nutrition coach, not a pediatric dietitian. If your child shows signs of an eating disorder, growth concerns, or a medical condition, the right next step is your child's pediatrician or a pediatric dietitian - and I will say so myself, and help you find one.
Please reach out for a free consultation to see if I am a good fit for you. The first conversation is a fit check, yours as much as mine. You tell me what you would like help with. I will ask about your week, your kitchen, and what has and has not worked. If we are a good fit, I will say what working together looks like. If we are not, I will say that too, and point you somewhere better.
Parents: this conversation starts with you.
The first talk is a free 15-minute call. You talk, I listen, and we decide together if ThriveRx fits. No pitch.
